What great turnout we had for the younger players today. I think there were over 20 players. I brought five with me. What a full time job that was keeping everyone with clear goggles, full mags, snacks and drinks etc.
It was surprising how aggressive the younger players played the games. WOW I witnessed a few really intense fire fights. There was some good strategic movement by a lot of the players. Ben in 3 color desert camo really impressed quite a few of us. For a guy that hasn't played at the air house before, he really had the place dialed in in no time. Shannon showed some real aggressive girl power too in the mercy game by single handedly holding the other team in their respawn for quite awhile. You go girl!!! Anthony stealthily snuck in and out of the shadows to get his kills. Jake got his kills in, and Josh played most of the day with dual pistols even I haven't gotten enough courage to try that in just one game let alone the whole day. he made good use of the Tornado grenade a few times too.
Speaking of the Tornado grenade. They threw it into the kitchen in the mercy game. When we came back to pick it up at the end of the night it was gone. If someone picked it up, please contact me so I can get it back. It is black with silver. Those things aren't cheap ($100).
My cell number is 269-506-5545 Please call me!!!
All of the kids played really honorably and called most every hit that I saw. I didn't hear any yelling or arguing. The little kids played just as hard as the big and didn't seem to be intimidated at all. I saw one kid get a full auto burst right in the knuckles. It took him right to the ground. Man I really felt bad for him. Thick gloves next time man!
In the last game of the night with the refs against all the kids. I am pretty sure the kids beat us in that one. Good job you guys and girls.
On the drive home all the talk of the epic times at the air house didn't stop till Tacobell was filling their mouths. After that they were all planning their tactics for next time.
Thanks to Munster, Chavo, Crockett, Sunshine, Loony, Junior, and the others that helped out tonight.
Toe-Knee out.
