Man, today was a great day at the airhouse. Even though I only played the ctf and deathmatch games, I had a ton of fun. It felt like the perfect amount of people to utilize the airhouse with the outside being open. Since it wasn't super crowded, I was able to rush through the middle a couple of times into the other teams spawn (I think it's about time to invest in an actual melee weapon). I was able to surprise the white team that was chilling in the kitchen! Also, Maverick seemed like he was everywhere today, especially on the cops and robbers game! One further thing....Damn you Spaz for shooting my hand in the pistol game! I'll get you back for that! Overall, I have to say that today was definitely one of my better experiences, and I hope that goes for everyone else too! And just to let everyone know, I brought along my camera and was able to take a few photos. I'll also post it in the photo gallery thread as well, but here's the link anyway: s1083.photobucket.com/albums/j386/trigg3rnometry/Rec%204-23-11/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ16 If you guys wan't your photo's spruced up, just let me know. I'm a freelance graphic/web designer, and I'm always happy to help friends!! EDIT: Jager is a beast with his sidearms, he inspired me to use mine more often. If only I could get my WA m92fs working!!

Video is forthcoming... Uploading to Youtube right now.
I reffed all day, and there were some great plays out there. Hostility was kept to a minimum. Players were honorable. I saw a few players who were wearing lots of layers who had some issues feeling hits, though..
My question to you.. It's a nice day, and its not cold. Why would you wear heavy layers? Are you that afraid of a little welt?
On the flipside, I saw several players out there in short sleeves, with a few bloodies to show for it.. Ooorah!
My highlight was.. of course.. The pistola match. I can honestly say that I could play 2-respawn deathmatches for 5 hours straight if they were pistol matches. Its a lot of fun to move through cover with a pistol, and to know that your opponent also has limited ammo and range.
I was able to rack up several kills. First on Kilroy, second on Kilroy, third on Omega, fourth on Chapel, Fifth and Sixth on Juggernaut and Omega together, seventh on someone unidentified, eighth on Omega, ninth on Spaz.. And then I was eliminated from the game by Spaz while attempting a knife kill on Chapel. That's why you should run in groups of two or more, because if Spaz wasn't covering Chapel's back, I had him dead to rights..
Thanks to all who participated! We do this for you, and have a little fun of our own in the process!

Can't wait for the video! Also, I decided to roll with just a tee today. Even though welts hurt at the time, pain is only temporary! Now its time to sit around and wait for fueling the fire...

I agree that I could do Pistol matches all day long. It feels more realistic with not only the limited ammo but with the aiming. You can't hold the trigger down and hope for the best with semi only/Pistol rounds. *cough Semi only all the time cough*.
Chapel and I beasted the Pistol rounds racking up the kills. At one point I was able to move in on the Red team's spawn (Bank) and get a Thunder B in the window. 3 kills in one easy go makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.
Absolutely 0 issues with hit calling today. the scenario "27 seconds" is favored in the way of the robber by FAR, but with some tweaking (Security guards with sidearms? slightly less time for the robbers?) It seems like a nice addition to our collection.
Highlight was Chapel, me and two other guys attempting to overtake the upstairs from the electric room. 1 confirmed enemy (Bill) with possible others. We basically decided to go for a suicide charge and ran through. I charged through untouched and rounded the far side of the grey tarp, did a combat roll (for no real reason other than I'm a badass) into a powerslide and snagged Bill and two others covering him to take charge of the upstairs. That's actually my highlight of the month.
Enough bragging about myself. I enjoyed airsofting with everyone today and was excited to be on a team with mostly guys I know well but also newer guys/gals that can hold their own and bring some pain to the table! Good job guys, looking forward to seeing you at Splatmandu.

Spaz Me and Killerghost were the ones that run in on the charge on bill and the others. Had a blast. Only a few times people didn't call hits right off. They may not of felt it but over all was a great day. Still looking for a Tactical Team/Squad to join.

Had a great time, which should go without saying. Can't think of a bad time I had at the Airhouse. Besides one time outside, all the hit calling was great, and it was nice to give my new shotgun a quick workout before Fueling the Fire.

Yep, another great airsofting day. I think I did most of my killing during the first CTF game when Red Team was spawning in the bank. I don't keep a kill count but it was "quite a few" before I got careless and my streak ended by the main bank entrance. After that I was probably about 50/50 or 40/60. Everything was pretty smooth and laid back. I only had a couple of instances where hits weren't called but it was likely due to shooting them in the vest or pouches when they were quartered away from me. Though I try to be sensitive to hits, I know there must be times when I get hit and don't realize/feel it due the crap I'm wearing. -Please- call a ref and come see me after the match if it happens and make me aware of it. I have no desire to be That Guy. Munster, does my gear put me in the "heavy layers" category? When it gets warmer, I -might- roll up my sleeves. Sorry. Pistol matches were a nice change-up and I liked the cops/robbers scenario of the 27 Seconds games, though like we talked about afterwards, less time between whistles or some guards should balance it out more. My only gripe for the day: if you're dead, either get your hands up or don't complain when I shoot you. - Juggernaut

Juggernaut, I do remember you wreaking havoc in our tarps the first game!!! Also, you were like a jedi deflecting my bb's using your gun!

You're not kidding! I had an unusually high number of gun hits that day. I expected to find more pieces missing from my handguard. I'm not complaining though, my knuckles are normally taking those hits and are still sore from -3- weeks ago. - Juggernaut

Pistol games were the best. I felt sorry for Munster and I LET HIM SHOOT ME! After the pistol games i wanted to shoot someone, still so bad that i shot juggernaut in the back as we were walking to the safe zone.
