Airsoft of Kalamazoo always provides A-Grade experiences. Today was no exception. Munster: Thank you so much for the pistol! Probably the only way to get me on board with the cool kids. I'll be gone the next two weeks for a wedding and a trip, but I'll be back EVERY Saturday bringing guests after that. I think we can get the airhouse pumping this summer. Also, great rush in the pistol game dropping on Spaz and I. That took guts. Spaz: 'Nuff said. Chapel: Always great running with you, man. I'll bring a change of clothes from now so we can chill after the game one of these times. Jay: Great getting back with you, man. Excellent job holding down the defense and running up front with us when the situation called for it. I would have pulled you tighter with us throughout the day, but I didn't want to ruin your buddy's day by leaving him with the rest by himself. Spec: Start running. Skipping games is for the weak; we definitely could have used you that last round. Otherwise, great job showing aggression today. Maverick: Awesome rushes, man. Fun to watch you frequently rush with teams of 2 or alone. Those 3 new big guys: You guys were pretty good, but try not to get too upset over hit calls. No problems with me, but I saw one of you fuming after one of the games. A lot of times people may not feel it with gear and adrenaline, which bites, but it is what it is. Do your best to call what you see/feel and don't take the outcomes of the games too seriously. Overkill: Late, but a beast as always regardless. Love that blinding light. --------- Looking forward to the new additions outside and the new renovations inside! Fuming was not the word for it. These guys were pissed off!! I went and talked to them twice and they were PISSSSSED!!! that some guys were not calling their shots. one of the guys even donned a vest, to ref, to go after no hit callers. I would say that is Pissed off! I personally do think that backpacks and hydration packs are not necessary at the air house for rec games. they do interfere with hit calling if you ask me.

A lot of people were complaining about hit calls and such. I know one kid got pissed because apparently I got hit and didn't call it(did not feel that hit but whatever) When I knifed him, he got really pissed and yelled for a ref. We both went back to our spawn points and that was over. If you are on here man, I am sorry for that little ordeal. Adrenaline and suspense can make a body not feel hits.

That was me getting him to ref because he was being very belligerent about the "not hit calling" . So, i told him to don on a vest if he could do better at reffing and calling peoples hits. I had to do something to cool him down cuz he was fuming.

I feel sheepish, that I ever acted that way when I first started Airsoft. It spreads like a disease. Fortunately, so does sportsmanship. I acknowledge and praise when a seemingly impossible kill is achieved and the player honorably calls his hit. I have had sooooo much more fun at this sport just worrying about myself. Perspective is key, we are here to have fun, and last time I checked, arguing about hits is def. NOT fun!! I like breedlands take on this issue: 4-1: Players shall refrain from arguments and engaging in any activities that may jeopardize future airsoft events at Apocalypse. 4-2: Any and all disputes shall be brought to the immediate attention of an OC. 4-3: Arguments with OC staff will result in a player’s immediate removal from the event & possibly further ones. If you argue with an OC, the OC WILL win. 4-4: Players shall refrain from calling another player “out†or “hitâ€ÂÂ. The only people who can call a player hit are that player & an OC. calling other players out shall be deemed as unsportsman-like & may result in the offending player receiving a penalty. Do not let other players bad habits affect yours. Attachments:

I have been trying to call every little hit that I think that I feel. Even that is not enough. Saturday when I grabbed a flag and ran around cover Munster was standing right there and said I was hit. I never really felt a thing. Of course I called out and respawned and got back in the game. Just try to call it if you feel anything nick you anywhere. Tell the person" good shot" and get back in the game or go take a break and load up some mags.
I think out side is different than inside due to the ranges that you can shoot. I think it would do everyone good to set down and shoot at targets at marked off distances. Adjust their hopup and see what that does for distance. A bbs flight can be deceiving. It looks like it is reaching the target but in reality it is falling way short. I think one to ten yards is a given any farther and you better know the trajectory of your replica. Especially at 350 fps or lower.
just something to think about

Thanks Carvin and Overkill. I try to get my fix also when my AEG's are up to par. lately i've been having issues with my guns. That was actually a brilliant response, Arch. Well played.
