Thanks Shreve! I know the first half of the game could have been better. It was raining, we were playing in a swamp, things were not up to par in my humble opinion.
However, I was personally very satisfied with the way the second half of the game went. I was inside most every battle, and most every player behaved honorably. I called a few people out but most every player called themselves out before I could. If there was cheating, it was very isolated. It is always our goal to minimize such things anyway. But all things considering, I was proud to call this an AofK game after the second half was done.

First off i would like to thank Airsoft of Kalamazoo for hosting this event and making it my best field experience by far! I am definitely a CQB guy at heart and my past experiences with field milsims have been terrible to say the least. You guys have bolstered my faith in the field milsim by a lot!
OVERALL
A few hiccups in the start in regards to mission objectives and team movement (but that is only to e expected at a new field as well as not knowing what PARTS of the field we would use). These hiccups got ironed out very quickly and from then on the game moved smoothly. A couple incidents of friendly fire on IMMORTALS (Charlie Squad. Sorry guys!) due to a little general miscommunication and troop placement, but again we handled the problems swiftly and moved on.
Being placed as CO and XO of mainly people we didn't know seemed like a daunting task at first but as soon as we laid out general plans T.E.A.M. (Woodland, Black, Contractor, Civilian) moved quickly and efficiently to their assigned tasks! BIG shout out to T.E.A.M.... i could not have asked for a better group of people to command today! absolutely ZERO problems with the whole team and i hope the same can be said about Carvin and I (C.O. -- X.O.)
The second half was by far the best part of the day. Everyone had a little bit of a feel for the area and started to feel comfortable with their assigned squads. Assignments were carried out swiftly and efficiently. I cannot stress how easy you guys made our jobs as Command. Immortal (Charlie Squad) was the workhorse of today!!! when we needed the house, Charlie got the house, when we needed a mission item, Charlie brings the item back. I am very glad we had you guys today and i hope you had a good time.
SPECIFICS
I regret not being able to remember many of my team's names or handles, but you know how well you guys performed out there and you should be very proud!
Crockett I am sorry about that headshot man. I didn't feel it ding off my helmet but I am glad you called me out on it... i wouldn't want to be one of those people that is known for not calling hits.
Tino and Munster. Again an amazing setup and i loved the fluidity of the missions/objectives. I hope to see many more Milsims like this.
Immortal. I really enjoyed having you guys on our team and i look forward to many games with you guys in the future.
Chavo. I love you man, when i had to pull back to safety Carvin and I had no worries putting you in charge of Bravo.
Many others i cannot think of at the moment, but i am very proud to have had you on our team today.
RATINGS
Field -- 8/10 (only because of the muggy/muddy day.
Reffing -- 10/10
Missions/Objectives -- 9/10 (only because of the hiccups at the start)
Overall -- 9/10
A special thank you to the owners of the field. Letting Airsofters play on your field after a bad experience is tough, but i am glad you let us play today.
Airsoft of Kalamazoo... I see great things in the future.

I had an great day.. Everything was smooth and fair, especially during the 2nd half. Spaz yea man, I'm glad we had honorable players like you and Cry Havoc. If I had an award for the most honorable team, I would give it to you guys. About that head head shot it's no problem. I know it gets hard to tell if something hit your head or not when playing in the middle of a firefight. But it was kinda funny I lined you up first in my sights and when I sent the first burst they were intended just for you. That's where I saw it bounce off your head lol. But your teammate Carvin got revenge and got me in the head Then you guys captured me Don't forget the ref's. Thank you for reffing so we all could have a good day. Sorry about your wife's camera Tino. Good day

Once again Can't say it enough times....
THANK YOU KZOO CREW
... for hosting this event and making it a lot better then what is would have been without you guys running the show!
As for the Tan team I will regrettably say we had some communication problems that need to be resolved but Great job to Grant being thrown into the CO position in Crockett's absence during the 2nd part of the day.....
I remember saying to bill after Crockett was captured "I think they are going to be pissed when the realize that Crockett isn't the CO"
Also i am glad that even thought green team took the house multiple times the didn't locate the "artifacts" that I had hidden underneath the chair on the upstairs
Good job green team.... immortal .... u did amazing and led your team to victory with how stealthy u were with taking the house
Thank you to the Refs also for doing this service so we can get the chance to play with GOOD refs!

Personally, I saw nothing but good airsofting today. As C.O. of the green team, I say with great sincerity that every member of T.E.A.M. should be very proud of themselves. We had a bit of inexperience, but with properly placed leadership, positive attitudes and a willingness to push forward with enthusiasm, we were able to successfully complete EVERY objective.
Alpha Squad: This squad was our support. Although leadership of this squad changed a few times as players came and left, the squad maintained solidarity and held up our firelines whenever they were called forward. Alpha squad is what made our waves of attack appear to be unending.
Bravo Squad: Led first by Spaz and then by Chavo, this squad regularly faced numbers greater than their own in order to create room for Charlie squad to complete/find/capture objectives. Although a few of the players in this squad seemed pretty inexperienced at first, they all followed Spaz's commands and quickly became deadly. A+ work for whoever served on this squad.
Charlie Squad: Led by Reaper from Immortal, this squad dominated. Having only one, I did not hesitate to give the medic to Charlie squad. These guys were responsible for collecting the skull, the box and the enemy C.O. They also took the bus castle in round 1 and the house (4 times) in round 2. This front line squad was nothing short of superb.
Delta Squad: This squad was my little bodyguard unit of civvies that only existed in round 1. Having been only their first event, these little guys really impressed me. They did an excellent job helping hold the house and they played with a lot of heart.
T.E.A.M. Objectives: 1. Hold the house for 30 minutes - COMPLETED 2. Hold the bus castle for 15 minutes - COMPLETED 3. Find the skull - COMPLETED 4. Find the medic box - COMPLETED 5. Find the 7 relics - COMPLETED (we found 3 while tan found 2) 6. Capture the enemy C.O. - COMPLETED
Futureball was a great success! Experienced today was the same high-octane action that I have come to expect from any event hosted by the Kzoo Crew. The objectives inspired aggression and the structure of the overall gameplay was absolutely masterful. The movement of spawn points was brilliant. In Short:
Field: 8/10 Reffing: 10/10 Objectives: 10/10 Players: 10/10 Spaz: 2/10 That guy who made us use barrel covers and told us that an airsoft gun shattered a car window: 1/10
Overall: 9/10

aaaw 2/10? i think you missed a 0 after the 2. 20/10 sounds about right!
and yeah shreve nice spot for those artifacts haha. Immortal tells us they can't find the artifacts and the refs confirmed they were upstairs so we tell them to double check but they came up with nothing :-p. i didn't really get to see the Tan team at work just because i tended to stay further back, but you had me scared a few times on the house's right side near the end. Wiped out my squad and i heard Sunshine say "It's Spaz GET HIM!" haha.
I eagerly anticipate the scoring.

What can we say? We just love shooting you. I was only there for the second half of the game, but still had a great time. Obviously, there were some negative changes made to the game thanks to the staff at futureball...but it was good to see that it didn't ruin the game for the people who were there. That takes some real enthusiasm for the sport. Tino and Bill, thank you for remaining flexible in regards to the changes that were made. You still manages to keep the game play engaging and interesting. Kudos. As usual, its always a blast to play with everyone who comes out to our events. You're a good bunch who's continued love for the sport keeps me playing.

Thanks Carvin, and Spaz, for being very efficient and cohesive as leaders of your teams. It was you two that made the biggest difference for your team. You had tan on the run most of the day, beating them back into their house and actually capturing it.
For tan, I saw one of the greatest flanking manuevers at an Airsoft game ever... A large detachment of Green had made their way on top of the hill right out front of the house. They were dug in pretty well and were making life miserable for the boys inside the house. Then Xander and Sunshine flanked them on their right side, eliminating one player after another until all were cleared out. Good job Wolf...
As far as the medics go, the only issue I had was constantly having to remind people to take that red armband off after they respawned. That Jack Sparrow guy on Tan was a good medic. And did you know all he had was a springer all day!!!

I got to play peek-a-boo with Reaper for a good five minutes about 5-10 feet away just giving eachothers bursts with nothing but our faces exposed. Great reffing/objective I however was not satisfied at all with the Futureball staff.

All in all I think the day went quite well. The first half was a little bumpy but was resolved during the second half. After half time it was on wiht non stop battles. KZOO Crew~For being split up I thought everyone worked very well. I particularly liked the new kid Mitch. He was out there killing fools! Bulldog it was great kicking it with you the WHOLE day before and once you finished your bag of sour skittles you performed quite well during the event. Cuddy it's always a pleasure to see ya bro. Anyone else that I didn't mention good job team!!!! Carvin and Spaz~Just let me know if you two want the role of CO & XO again, nuff' said!!! Wolf~ When the rest of the team showed up Sunshine was no longer Raincloud and IT WAS ON! I can remember on four different occasions when Chavo came back and was like, "It happened again!" I asked him what happened and he said the wolf did it again. He would get up close and kill a few people when either Kazz or Sunshine would shoot him....once.... right in the back. I am very honored to have such a great group of tactical masters on our team. Immortal~What can I say? You guys are always awesome and represent Airsoft to a tee. Reaper you're a beast but you already know that. Lawrence it was a pleasure to shoot the crap with ya ny friend. To all other Immortal members good job out there and keep it up. You guys make us proud to be Ally brothers. ALAMO~Thanks for the support. You guys work well together and Sparrow is an awesome medic, he might be as good as Casey! It was great to match some faces together from the forum. I was in the TEAM respawn the whole second half so I didn't really get to see your team work. Anyways, thanks for coming and hope to see ya again. OVERALL~I too was dissapointed with what I was promised and what I was given. But what can ya do...make the best out of what you are given. That is exactly what we did. In the end EVERYONE that I asked said that they totally enjoyed the event and would be to another!!!!

And now for the Score:
Federation (Tan): 950 total points
TEAM (Green): 1,750 total points
Congratulations to TEAM! This is a great victory, considering your loss at the Battle of Laporte, and the stalemate you reached at TEAM Destruction. This puts you in a good strategic position going into the next chapter. The swamp is littered with the bodies of fallen Federation Soldiers...
