Maybe I don't know what I am talking about, but I owned one, and my friend did too, and they were both plastic. But maybe the new ones are metal.
They are sweet though. And even though they are plastic, they are good quality.

Every Tri-shot from UTG I have ever seen has been plastic. Tino and I have both owned one and both have been plastic. I would definitely be interested in a metal one. Are the MTAC ones gas or spring?

My mistake, it was a matrix shotgun that comes full metal for $80. The utg is abs/metal h.s. The matrix is a few bucks more at around $25 over the utg. I thought I remembered it from mtac, but it was a kid running with one at Farmington I think. Whatever the case, it was a sick gun.

Well I have been airsofting for about 7 years now and as of the past few years I have been a mostly full time sniper. I run a TM Vsr10 Gspec with tons of Laylax upgrades and a TM Glock 18c AEP(Sometimes I switch out my AEP for a UTG 3 shot shotgun). A good sniper should be able to hold his own in any situation(CQC or field) so a secondary that YOU are comfortable with is a must. I personally get arround as manny kills with my secondary as I do with my primary sniper. A sniper who is too worried about being sneeky is useless to a team, a good sniper should be capable of working with a team and should be able to thrive in ALL situations. Bassically if you totally avoid getting close, then you are doing it wrong. A nice AEP is your best bet but the more expencive route.. I also own a TM mp7 and a P90, they are hard to carry and slow you down. So between a shotgun,GBB, or AEP is all up to what you are comfortable with(There is no right answer). As to a scabbard vs sling, again there is no right answer and depends on what you are comfortable with. I have tried all options and I am most efficent with a sniper plus holstered AEP, do not underestimate the power of full autto/burst fire.

Back when I had my TM Vsr-10 I used the CYMA Glock18c. it was alot of fun and very useful and easy to maneuver with. But some people called me crazy cause I used my Vsr-10 in the CQB house as my primary (350 fps spring). cause you only need 1 shot to get someone out.

Ha, nice Shreve. I used to use my TM Vsr-10 Gspec in CQB too (With a low power spring) with my AEP as my side arm. I like to hear when snipers aren't all pussified and will do CQB.

All of our(MTAC) Shotguns are mostly plastic. There just UTG tri shots. The the older ones so some of them have metal barels but every thing else is plastic.

If you are looking for a metal shot gun. The gas powerd ones are metal and they are nice. I used to have one a while back. I am looking at getting another one here come next spring. Its nice to have them in warmer weather.
