Hey guys, The gun Im planning to buy on evike.com if I dont get Mavericks is a G&G Tan Combat Machine. Since it does not come with a small battery Im looking at a 9.6 Volt 1600 Mah Battery. But it says that it comes with a small deans connector. Will I be able to use this in this gun without any upgrades? www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=31_172&products_id=31696

No its cool about the installation, The gun said that it takes Butterfly (nunchuck) type battery, and I can find one that doesnt hook up using a deans connector. But thanks anyway

The deans connectors are more efficient then the normal connectors

How are they more efficient? seems like its just a connector, not a huge difference and I dont think it affects the guns ROF or anything

Deans connectors simply transfer current faster and more efficient so that the trigger response is quicker. Because it takes less time for the current to go through the gun. Which also means that it also increases the rof compared to the standard tamiya connectors.

Switching deans is super easy, just need like 50 cents and a soldering iron.
