It's not gearbox lock. i think its either the motor or the electric trigger mechanism.. when you touch the battering directly to the prongs in the gun it fires.. but when you plug it in to the normal battery hook-up nothing happens when you push the switch to complete the circut.
might need a new switch, where would i get one of those?
any ideas?

By my knowledge, those A&K's are infamous for needing new trigger switches. I might be able to get you one from Spartan. I will check prices and let you know.

ok, so the gun doesn't shoot, but the box mag which is run of the same trigger switch still does.. this is leading me to believe the trigger switch is fine.. also i found the fuse box and its blown, starting to think this whole thing may have been a blown fuse and i was hearing the trigger box wind up thinking it was the gearbox locking. case solved?

eh, not yet. I just got word from the kid I'm fixing it for that it was blown after the fact buy his dad..
