I have diagnosed this problem to be a frozen gearbox. I have removed the motor and pistol grip. The motor works just fine and the battery is fully charged. The piston will not move, and I know that the motor is trying to turn, because you hear the electric humming of the motors try to turn the gears.
If you can, give me your input, but I am probably going to ask if I can have you reshim, the gearbox. I will most likely be at Eastern Fire or Op Fueling the Fire. Get back to me on this please.
Thanks, Nate/Colt

Are you sure it's not just a locked piston?

Sounds like the standard stock AEG issue of a non perfect shim job coupled with bad grease and AoE issue. I would recommend a reshim, or a basic tune up for your problems.
As far as Ops, I live in Kalamazoo for local drop offs anytime, or I go to games semi-regularly.

I kinda figured it was something along those lines. I don't have a LOT of experience, but I know the problems if my gun when I see/hear it. I live in Tawas City, but I'm going to college in Sault Ste. Marie. Ratchet: I don't think it's a locked piston, because it was working just fine a few weeks ago when I was at my house making sure everything worked. I think that it was just dying eventually, since I ran that thing hard. I'm a motor-burner, ya know? Loved to hold down that trigger.

I would look at this in two lites here.
1. I do give some credit to the shim job of most stock AEG's are not the best.
2. If you did any half pulls on the trigger you could have easliy locked the piston back.Yes you will still here the motor tryiing to turn the gears, as the anti-reversal latch has kicked in and locked the gears down.
Just my thoughts on it here.

I usually don't do half pulls at all. I'm not sure. Its JG, so, its known to have problems.

Figured out your problem.......it says JG on it. Lol. Kinda interesting that 75% of most bone yard stock says JG in the title. WTF? Bummer!

Well, it was my first gun three years ago, that I bought myself. Its been beat up pretty badly since I've had it. I bet theres probably even some teeth missing in there, but its my "beat the hell out of" gun now, and my loaner. I would like it to get fixed, but the problem is funds right now.

Repost on this Mav. Will you be at the airhouse this month like this or next weekend? I can bring it by and you might have a look at it? I really need it fixed by the OP coming up.
