Need part suggestions to get my Cyma M14 Field ready.
At the moment it shoots ~350 and I would like 380-400.
The Rate of Fire is taken care of with a CA motor I have.
Will it need better internals to hit 380-390 and stay solid?
If so, i'd like suggested upgrades and Maverick if you could give me a tentative price on it, that would be very nice.

I can give you a few upgrades you may need (whether your gun has them yet or not):
1. Metal Gears and Gear Box (not required, but recommended) 2. Madbull 3-in-1 one piece hop-up (for better accuracy, trust me, it works ) 3. M110 or M120 spring (to get it up to the FPS you want, M110 is 350-380, M120 is 380-410) 4. Tight-bore barrel (also not required, but it does help with fps. it gives a better air seal on the bb) 5. Heavier BB's (may lower FPS, but if you get the M120, it should throw .23 or .26 at 380 without much problem)

Good ideas Colt, but he has an m14 which cannot use the Madbul 3-1 and it already has metal gearbox and components.
Personally Spaz, I would go with the following:
- Quality TBB (This is going to take some searching as it must be an m14 cut barrel) - Guarder Clear bucking - Guarder SP110 (Should put you at ~390) - Metal Bushings (If it doesnt already) - Metal spring guide w/ bearing - Shim and regrease
This is the bare minimum for accuracy and semi-reliability over time. The problem with this setup is simply that I cannot guarantee how long the clone gears or piston would hold up.
If you wanted to go the extra mile I would recommended the next options in most important to least important:
- Guarder Steel gearset - SHS 5 metal tooth piston - G&P Explosive piston head - SHS Air nozzle - Upgraded wiring + MOSFET + Deans - Metal v7 cylinder head - Upgraded tappet plate - New cylinder
This would essentially replace every mechbox component giving you a very solid and reliable gun. The issue is that alot of these parts are out of stock on some sites, and would take some hunting to get a good price list together. Maybe thing about how much you want to put into the gun and post that up and we can see from there.

That is why YOU are the expert Mav. I don't know much about M14's, just M4's Haha. I gave what I know. Oh well, I'll know better next time.

The first list you posted looks like a good but i think i'll be alright without a TBB, I was pleasantly surprised with my groupings at 150ft with .23s at just 350fps. Just need the distance without tearing my gun apart from the inside out. I use it pretty much once a month and lightly as I am usually higher on the chain of command. Not my workhorse gun by any means. As for price, I don't even know what a good price is for that stuff. I'll tally them up from a couple websites and see if I like what I see. EDIT: Took a look at ASGI (they had everything) and came up with about $50 for everything (including Metal bushings) about $35 without. Taking into account your pricing on working on the replica what approximately would that amount to (price for with and price for without bushings)?

I would actually recommended eHobby for this purchase. It will be cheaper and better if we can get a couple people in on it.
G&P Steel Spring guide $7 5KU SS Bushings $5 Guarder SP 110 $12 SHS Shims $2
Total $26 + ~$10 shipping puts you at ~$36. You could even add a couple things to that if you wanted, like a new piston head, cylinder head, or stuff not for the m14 even.
But the cost of shooting bitches with a tuned rifle $Priceless
If you wanna go with this, I will get yet another eHobby group order together.

The price sounds great. I REALLY want to get it up and going before Fueling the Fire though. So maybe just a spring change (provide my own) for Fueling the Fire and then the other internal upgrades after?

Well if you want we can go ahead and get the order together, and can get the parts here in 1.5 weeks easy as eHobby gets here 4 days after ordered. Then we should have over a month to get it up and running awesome.
