None of those will work. Take the stock off of your JG M16 so you can see the difference. As paranox so eloquently stated before (lol) you have a commercial buffer tube. Stocks that are compatible will normally state that they are commercial. Hope this helps. If not, I'll try to find pictures, or see me at the airhouse.

It does help. I just wish there was commercial folding stocks for my gun.

I have seen some at "On Target" in Kazoo. I'll try to get brand names, next time I'm there.

I know this thread is aging a little but I wanted to add a comment.
Your other option is, buy a real steel Mil-spec stock tube. They will fit on the ARES M4 and also make it MUCH easier to us a stock tube battery on the ARES series of AEG's.
They can be had for about $20.00 dollars at On Target or any where online that sells real AR-15 parts.
Adding a Mil-Spec stock tube to an ARES M4-A1 will open you up to using a wider ranger of less expensive Airsoft stocks!

I was looking into the new Colt folding stock.

I was looking into the new Colt folding stock. Well, any folding stock designed to work with a real steel AR-15 style lower would work on the ARES. Say one of those .22LR AR side folders. Most real AR's can't work with folders because of the bolt and carrier. There are very few that do, but if you find a stock for one, it will fit on the ARES as long as it fits on a standard AR lower.

That would be great, but do you know how expensive real stocks are?

Well, the stock you pictures, two of them anyway would be these two parts:
ARRB- AR receiver block $35.00
ARRB-M4-FSM AR side folding CAR M4 Collapse stock $164.00
They do have a cheaper stock for $80 that looks like it would work too with that $35 dollar adapter.
Here is my other suggestion... Hit up some of the HK airsoft sights and look for stocks that work on the Systema PTW that include the tube. Problem is, there are only two types of guns I know of other then the ARES that use real style stock tubes, the WE gas M4 which cant be side folding because the bolt and carrier blows back into the stock tube like a real AR, and the Systema PTW which, well, a side folder would work but the electronics and the battery go in the stock to again a side folder would be a pain in the ass.
Real steel might be your best choice.

So, is it possible to get the airsoft version of say an MOE stock, and modify it?
