Never been to this field before. The field was keeped up and the people were very nice. I would play on the field and with those people again at any time. I enjoyed playing the blood bath game. I had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from the game today. s1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff501/puggy33/kzoo%203-19/

Sadly I saw an overload of dishonor and even more so of aggressive yelling, one of my biggest loves for AofK is for the community but the mixture this time didn't set up right, none the less it was an enjoyable time and my friends are hooked.

Thank you everyone that came out today. And thank you Puggy for the pics, it was nice to finally meet ya! Total attendance: 54 people. This is the largest crowd we have had at the Airhouse since the Grand Opening in April of 2010. With that many people in a CQB facility you are bound to have some issues. The moderators did a fine job of resolving the situation without conflict(s).
Once again thank you to all who attended and thank you Mark and Crew for dinner!

Hey Puggy, thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed AofK.. I kind of like it too Great Pictures, BTW.. Nice of you to take the time to post those up. I know everyone looooves pics! For Mailman, I am not sure what you mean by "dishonor". I was all over the field reffing all day long and saw very, very few instances of non-hit calling and aggressive yelling. And any time I saw it, it was immediately squashed. Hopefully, in the future, if you see issues such as these, you will call a referee over and allow us to correct it immediately. After all, that's why we have refs on the field in the first place. To anyone who ever has an issue at our games, if you don't have a good time due to hit-calling or other players aggressive yelling, and you refuse to call the refs over to correct it, then its your own fault. (They're the guys with the bright, orange vests..)

Most of the not hit calling Players were ones I shot and I didn't even say much because a red can't really do anything at the point and it didn't particularly bother me, just disappoints that people choose to not do that. As for the yelling I just tried to ignore it if it wasn't directed at me because I didn't wish to escalate the situation that had already got to cursing and yelling.

You are correct, I will not call a player out unless I see the hit. However, if there are reports of non-hit calling, I will first watch the player and verify the problem. If I see it, I will call them out. If it continues, I will speak with the player in private. It has never escalated beyond that point. Most players straighten out pretty easily and are generally very honorable.
I take issue with a player seeing a rule violation, doing nothing about it when we make very clear that we WILL do something, and then posting a negative review.
Let me be clear on this. For all players. 1. We have rules. 2. We have refs to enforce the rules. 3. If you watch someone break rules and allow it to go unreported, you are just as bad as the rulebreaker.

If you watch someone break rules and allow it to go unreported, you are just as bad as the rulebreaker. I agree. I report things to refs as soon as I see the problem because I know that it will make the game run a LOT smoother. Just a simple "watch out for the guy with a blue shemagh" or "I'm hearing some crude comments from the green team" as you pass a ref helps. I'm sorry I didn't make it out there today, I overslept a little bit and 50+ people is bit too big for me even with the outside. I'm definitely planning for the 20 Man max sundays.

I posted nothing negative about AofK, just random individuals and expressed how it was much different from my past experience. Just as well I stated that there isn't much more you CAN do, perhaps there was only that one hit they didn't call, at that point there's no fix which is fine and is understood when playing this game, I am aware however that you refs would and do what you can. Excuse the spelling errors, my iPod spell check changed some things like ref to red etc and at times I don't notice.

Its Ok, Mailman, I understand. No harm done!
Now excuse me while I change gears..
I can honestly say, after running games inside all winter, opening the outside today made things feel alot bigger. Some may disagree, but with all the new cover, 50+ felt pretty good. People were able to move. Of course, there were some hang-ups at the usual choke points. But that happens when there's 20 players.
My favorite games today turned out to be the indoor/outdoor Attack-defend games.
We had the first team clear it in 16:01 and the second team clear it in 17:17. There were some epic rushes that made me wish I had been filming today. Hopefully Jay or Crockett captured some of them because I am sure they were highlight-reel material. My favorite was when Kazz orchestrated a 9-man breach at the small door..
JR snuck up and closed the door so they could stack up on it without taking fire.. Then Kazz turned to his troops and exclaimed: "OK, I'm going first, so I'm gonna DIE! I want everyone in a line behind me!"
They all lined up, most players had their hands on each other's backs, and counted down..
" 3-2-1....GO!"
The door was then kicked open and they ALL bull-rushed out the door....
And all nine were promptly shot.

Well me and Bad Brad had a blast yesterday!!! It was target rich environment to say the least. Wow what a great turnout. I got there a bit late due to daughters archery tournament. Brad was there on time but I only left him one magazine to play with. he was happy to see me show up with the mags. none the less he had 9 kills in a row. I wasn't as aggressive as usuall. I kind of played sniper a lot of the day. I took up a good position and picked em off as they appeared. I see why Crockett likes the sniper role.
One of my fav times was when me and oneshot were trading hits from me in the kitchen and him outside under cover. I am sure he got me more than I got him. I always enjoy shooting you my friend!! Hehe Even though I am a Russian traitor. One of these days maybe we will be on the same team again. All in all I had great time at the air house. got to play with some new people and seen some familiar ones that haven't seen for a while.
Can't wait to bring the kids today. I got new one coming and he has been eagerly waiting for a few weeks.

Had a wonderful time. Me and my guys from adrian will definatly be coming back in the near future. Didn't like the fact that my gun busted but it still works Oh and the fact that I got shot through my optical was beast, even though I got showered with shattered optical

Tino, Munster, & the rest of the Crew:
As usual, my sons and I had a good time.
Extraordinary turn-out. You will have to start looking for more space if you keep up that kind of attendance. I will add that opening up the outside kept it from seeming too crowded.
There were a few instances of hit calling, but Munster & the other refs quickly got it under control. I heard other team members discussing it during the first Defend game, but it was so random that I don't want it to dimish from the rest of the players who were calling hits.
Reaper & Friend (Sorry, I forgot your call sign....): Nice to see you at the House. My sons and I have enjoyed spraying plastic with you at Chaos. A little less running around at the House, but a lot more trigger time. Love your energy & willingness to speak up and coordinate team play.... I reget not bringing our comm. gear. It would have been helpful. Come on down to Splatmandu, roll with M.A.D... We'll kick some butt... Good luck on your finals...
Spaz: You missed a good day....
Trig: See my comments to Reaper and Friend, same to you.... Justin is looking forward to seeing you again. He wants to get your cammo pattern.
Toe-Knee: You know I always like to give some gas.... The last time I was at the House, Jager always seemed to light me up. Yesterday, it was you... You gave me a nice welt on my neck. Thanks for lighting me up during blood-bath... I thought I was going to nail you, but you were quicker. I made sure I kept an eye out for you after that.
Tino, Munster, & Kilroy: Enjoyed the meal and talking airsoft. Will follow up with both of the issues we discussed.
Will close with thanking everyone that came out yesterday. Also thanks to Omega and Juggernaut for letting me use their jamming rods. I mean it when I say that you Crew members have really made us feel welcome and at home.
Thanks........
