I have a TM VSR
the sears went bad recently so I decided to get the airsoftgi upgrade pack
1. sear and piston set 2. spring guide 3. piston
I have the gun back together the bolt pulls back, round is chambered, push bolt back. everything is functioning right.... unit I go to pull the trigger.
I pull the trigger and there is a pull to it but nothing happens. Why is this?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Two things come to mind. 1) The trigger is not assembled quite right. 2) The trigger pull adjustment screw is too far to the heavy side, causing the pull to be so mechanically massive that it cannot release. 3) (thought of this as I was typing ) there is not enough lubrication between the parts.

Are you still running the stock spring? I have my old TM trigger mech still laying around from when I had my two gpecs, I could bring that on Sat if you need one that works.

The problem may not have been then with the sears, but rather the piston wearing itself.

the piston is new... but i think i have found the problem now.... been messing with the gun for a good couple hours now... with the NEW sears in.... I pull back the bolt and it is cocked, I pull the trigger and nothing happens.... this made me try and fire the gun while the trigger assembly is still exposed the trigger is having trouble pushing forward all the way for some reason. But the main problem is when I do get it to pull all the way so the sears would drop the sears dont drop.... (SHit....might have answered my own question (spring on new sear might be to strong)) the gun then occasionally fires if i go to pull up on the cocking handle..... well im going to try and switch the spring for the sears (these sears are meant for a more powerful spring..... BUT im not allowed to use a more powerful spring cause tino said so not hatin tino... I love ya man

I CLAIM VICTORY MOTHER F$#^@r YEAH!!!!!!!! GET SOME!
Well instead of throwing in the smaller spring on the sear because I was sick of taking the trigger box apart I threw in a more hefty spring, AND IT WORKED!
