You gotta come!...I need that MK5K!!! If anyone has ANY ideas on how to fix this problem lets hear 'em!
The only thing I can think of is the fire selector switch is faulty...
Other than that i wouldn't know.

Maverick will be there at the Airhouse on Saturday and I'm pretty sure he won't mind taking a look at it. In other words bring your ass!!!

Haha, planning on it brah, got these repair jobs stacking up As for your problem it is most likely something in the trigger switch area. Sounds like positioning the selector plate in the FA position causes a spring to stick or something along those lines. Taking it apart and putting it all together again may very well alleviate the problem.

Im sure it's the selector plate, and I will take it apart and put it back together and see how that works. I was just hoping for an easy fix I guess.

yeah, my friend had a problem like that and it ended up being that the selector switch was just sticking and once we cleaned it and moved it around a bit it worked fine.

I repositioned the selector switch and the full auto problem went away. However, after hooking everything back up and testing, the fuse burnt out. I then replaced the fuse and it worked for about 10 minutes until the connection between the gearbox and the motor completely died.
I just bought a new wiring kit, so I'll re-wire my gun tonight and hopefully have it up and running by tomorrow morning.

Just a tip, never buy a wiring harness for your gun, ever. Unless the trigger contacts and sliding part needs replacing. Buying your own wire and soldering is sooooo much cheaper and allows you complete customization ability.

Agreed on the soldering. Not difficult at all. Gun fixed finally after 3 days of tinkering with it. That was fun .

Fuses last maybe 300 shots then burn out. I could probably fix the problem by putting in a weaker spring and battery, but I'm addicted to laser-like rate of fire.
Any suggestions?
Also, I need some grenade shells. I know little to nothing about them so and advice is appreciated.

You are drawing too much current which is why they are blowing. What are the fuses rated for?
I always remove fuses from all my guns.

The fuses are 20A 250V. I guess I could use 30A's but I'm not sure what that would do to my rof or fps.
You seriously don't use fuses? Couldn't that mean death to your gearbox? I thought fuses were supposed to take the hit for your motor and your battery if something goes wrong.

I have never once had a problem result from lack of fuse, but I do also take better care of my guns and maintain them better than the average person. Bump it up to 25s or 30s, I think you should be fine. You also could get a resetable fuse.
