First off, let me say congratulations on another fantastic MilSim game. I felt like it was definitely right on with the theme. I was thoroughly impressed. Kind of disappointed in the lack of a raffle, but there was merchandise for sale. Overall, it was a great game, and great weather to play in. Nice breeze all day, lots of shade. My statement at that field is amazing still stands. Tino - Thanks a lot for hosting another awesome game at Area 51. You did a great job with reffing as well. Munster - Overall, a great and organized CO. You kept up pressure on tan all day. And most of all, unlike the CO from FtF, you didn't get captured! Thanks to your security detail. Killmaster - Great job hosting the night game and reffing during the full game. I can't wait to see what you have planned for next year. STFU guys - I have to say, working with my guys as a security detail for the CO was a blast. Lulls and hairy situations all day. Great communications between the four of us, and I'm glad I got to run a good game with you guys. Definitely seemed professional and legitimate. Spaz - Delta loadout was sweet, but when it came to the castle, shooting me in the face, well, wasn't. Haha. Sunshine - I'm glad you could make it out before leaving. It was a pleasure having you help us out running all over the field helping and taking objectives. Jo(h)n - Thank you Jo(h)n, for having us come out to your field and providing food. You are a great group of people to work with. Adam - As a civilian leader, you were a great asset to holding off tan and were always plotting against us. Great acting as well even in handcuffs. NADIA - You guys were a great group of guys to be a part of. It was definitely a hell of a day all over the place. Losing communication, losing equipment, gathering intel you guys did great. I was proud to serve with you. MAD - You had us pinned sometimes and out of range most of the time for me. Like, literally ~1-3 feet just out of range. Good job keeping us held. Civvies - Well, you were some sneaky little bastards, weren't you? Who's side did you choose the most? Haha. Great job all for one hell of a good weekend for me and I know the STFU guys, FSA (killmasters group) and the TOAST (alpena guys) had a lot of fun from the comments I heard. Keep up the good work and like I said, I can't wait to see Tino out on the field next year when he doesn't have to run the show!

I always enjoy KZOO CREW hosted Milsims and this one did not disappoint. The weather was good ( a little hot for my taste ) and the field was just as amazing as I remember it. Area 51 has it all. Spots for long distance engagements and so much cover (man-made and nature) to allow CQB weapons to still be deadly. The Area 51 host is also very accommodating which makes the event run quite smoothly. Tino and the other refs kept pace with a lot of the action but maybe a few more refs would have been nice. Great job with the objectives and keeping everyone pumped and feeling like there was something to do at all times. At first MAD blazed through objectives like they were nothing and decided to make a temporary alliance with the civilians to try and even the odds with the overwhelming mass of NADIA. The first half felt like we were dominating. Things quickly changed when the Civilians switched sides and joined NADIA to try and crush us. Both teams made it increasingly hard to complete objectives and move through to other positions but for the most part MAD persevered and we were still able to complete many objectives. When the second half kicked off, MAD was used to the seemingly endless horde of civilian and green enemies and I believe we completed all objectives. I am very impressed with my MAD teammates. I always enjoy running with my actual team as well as the Airhouse regulars! Thanks go to Carvin (Cry Havoc) for stepping up as CO. I enjoy watching your Macro tactics at work and I try hard to implement them and form it into squad Micro to complete objectives. I always enjoy having you as CO (even though running as a squad for once would have been nice) because I know for a fact stuff is going to get done. Special Thanks to Red Knight. After the Castle charge near the end of the day I was very close to passing out from heat exhaustion and had the early warnings of a full blown Migraine and Red Knight took quick charge of me and helped me out big time by giving me a ton of water to drink and dousing my head in cool water. Thanks bunches man, It is greatly appreciated! My favorite part of the day was the full team charge on the Castle near the end. Called in a smoke screen for the setup and made a mad dash to take control of the castle. Grenades flew like crazy (Overkill , screaming out enemy positions, clearing the inside and hollering for a medic to heal the few wounded. Hectic, crazy and an intense fight. I'm glad I got to see some new faces and some old ones at Area 51 and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Can't wait for the next event!

Well, I'm too tired to type alot, but this MilSim was pretty baller. Even though I wasn't expecting to be security detail for the "last minute CO" Carvin (who did a hell of a job), I had a great time. The A51 field is AMAZING! Anyways, I have more stuff to say but I'm having trouble focusing, 5.5 hours of driving plus running around is finally catching up to me. I'll post the pics Tino took sometime tomorrow! Now the waiting for the next even begins!

I forgot to mention the Detroit Siege Works guy. I never caught his name, but letting me hold his Kart EBR and teaching us a little about knife fights and how to get away from them was pretty cool. This was his crowning item at the game: AIRSOFT FLAMETHROWER!

Agreed. That thing was awesome, too bad it wasn't a special objective. that would have been epic.

"Good Day, Gentlemen. This is your NADIA C.O...."
"I need Delta to move immediately to the dude ranch and hold it at all costs! Bravo, move into the village and provide support if needed....."
And this was how much of the day went. We started the day at the North Drop Zone, which is all the way on the north end of the field. Its deep in the woods. At this time we appointed 4 squads and their commanders.
Once this was done, we quickly composed a strategy to allow good field intel and domination of key points. Also, our first objective was to establish an FOB somewhere on the North End of the field. We decided on Chicken Run. Later, this proved to be an outstanding choice.
Our initial strategy was as follows:
1. Bravo to Dude Ranch, report. 2. Delta to North Flag Station, report. 3. Charlie to Castle, report. 4. Frontal Assault to Chicken Run, secure area. 5. CO and Security Detail to follow, set up FOB at Chicken Run.
So this went off without a hitch, with all of our squads reaching their initial listening posts without much incident or resistance, except Bravo, who hit a wall of MAD about 50 yards outside of Dude Ranch. But our FOB was set up and we were in business.
Knowing the field a little from last year, I knew that Dude Ranch was a very key point. So I devoted alot of resources to a continued attack on this area. Also, Holding Dude Ranch and the Chicken Run allowed us to call in an artillery strike. Also, about this time, High Command called in my first mission... It was decision time.
"First Mission: Locate Mayor Quimby at the Castle and recieve important intel from him..."
My listening posts were telling me the castle was solidly held by MAD, and they appeared to be allied with the civilians already.. My attack on Dude ranch was repelled and about 90% of my Frontal Assault squad was standing in respawn. Soooo...
I made the decision to send a smaller squad to the castle and atttempt the mission, while continuing to focus the majority of my resources on Dude Ranch. In the end, we took Dude Ranch and lost the castle mission... But now we held the two key points needed to call in the deadly artillery strike..
Once we took Dude Ranch, things started happening fast.. Civvies betrayed MAD, I decided not to trust them either. Bravo located and surrounded Fort Pinky, and prepared to laser-designate for an artillery hit. And Reaper from the Canadian Rebels was attempting to contact me with important intel..
So I sent out my security detail to secure Reaper. They disarmed his bodyguards, cuffed him, and brought him to me. We were deep in our own territory in a secure location. Leo and Nad from Bravo squad were joined with my security detail, providing a security perimeter around the meeting. Reaper began explaining about the Alcohol Stills, and how he knew where the parts were... When suddenly we were ambushed!
I saw flashes of Tan running through the brush.. My men were returning fire but were getting hit pretty bad.. So I grabbed Reaper, threw him down in front of me as a Human Shield, and began returning fire right over top of his body. He started cussing as the BB's from the MAD ambush bounced off his flesh.. But I ignored it and unloaded and entire Mag in the direction of the last tan flash I saw...
Then I turned and ran...
I could continue this narrative for the rest of the game, but I'm hungry and its breakfast time.. So I will close with this:
Carvin, you were a worthy adversary and kept me guessing all day.
Bravo, you did a great job at everything.
Charlie, you got split up over time, but were decisive at some crucial points, namely MADS attempt to flank our spawn. You killed 'em from behind!
Delta, you also lost men, but did a great job holding Dude Ranch, providing intel, and supporting when needed.
Frontal Assualt: You did all that was asked of you as well. Completed objectives and provided the HAMMER necessary to take and hold entrenched enemy positions. Hunt, you were an excellent leiutenant.
X-Squad (Codename Whiskey): Helped me control Reaper, complete objectives, and undermine the enemy with good small-group tactics. Your mission was a success. Sunshine, I will miss ya.
Tino and Killmaster: Shorthanded ref crew but I never could tell all day long. Each of you was like 3 men out there.
I had fun, I was tired, my head was sunburned.. But I had a happy Father's Day! Go Kzoo Crew!

NADIA Charlie Squad Leader. Designation: Dynamo
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made this event one of the best ever. I'm already looking forward to everything else you guys have planned in the future.
To Munster, our CO: Awesome job man!!...I'm so glad that you took the time to form squads and get us organized before the game started. It definitely made a difference in the way things played out. I really enjoyed having smaller missions to lead my squad through. We are newly formed so it was excellent practice for us.
To Bravo and Delta: You guys were a blast to team up with throughout the day. You gave us the support we needed and we were happy to provide the same.
To NADIA's frontal assault force: To reiterate what Munster said, thanks for being the Hammer behind our strategy! You guys made it possible for our smaller squads to fan out and complete our missions.
To Carvin and the rest of MAD: You guys are terrifying. That is all.
To everyone else out there. You guys are all a blast to play with and it makes me proud to be a part of this Michigan Airsoft community. I love everything about it.
To close all of this up...
This was the best MilSim yet. Before this it was Fueling the Fire. I'm just glad that I was able to be a part of both. As I already said, I'm really looking forward to the events you guys have planned for the future. But, for now it is time to recuperate, drink a beer, eat some food, and take care of my sunburn.

I'd like to say a huge thanks to both the Area51 owners and the AofK guys for providing an awesome field and a fantastic game Sunday! The field is downright awesome, its one of my favorites to play at. Like previous posts, the field contains a variety of terrain to play on, allowing the ranged weapons to be used well in some spots, and the CQB weapons to be better suited in others. I would say that about 80 - 90 % of all kills called their hits, but there were a few times where no hit was called. Apart from those isolated incidents, gameplay was clean and well reffed by Tino, Killmaster, and their crew. As far as teams go, I felt that towards the beginning when the civilians had supported MAD, the teams were about as even gets, number wise. But later in the day, when some of MAD had left the field, and the civilians jumped sides, it was looking that NADIA had us outnumbered at least 2:1. This made taking some of our objectives, where we had to be in two places at once, extremely challenging. I felt that the objectives were well defined and provided an excellent challenge throughout the day. MAD was pretty well organized considering the circumstances of lacking a CO until about 20 minutes before the game started. Thanks again Carvin, you allowed us to become a very capable fighting force against a much larger team. My only complaint would be NADIA camping our spawn right before lunch, as it was just annoying to see that mentality. I was amused by our CO's pep talk, then M.A.D respawning and completely demolishing NADIA's force camped out there. Tino - Thanks for hosting another great game at Area 51! Killmaster - Great job with assisting as a referee and making sure everything went smoothly! Carvin - Major props to you for stepping up as M.A.D CO. Your team as well as squad tactics were extremely useful and effective in completing our objectives. Also, remember that CO doesn't take point Spaz - Great running with you and Carvin again. The Delta loadout you had was pretty sweet too, I must say. Sunshine - Thanks for getting that sling for me, it's greatly appreciated. Gigas & the Fighting Tacos - It was pretty good to finally put names to faces, and a good time running with you guys. M.A.D - good job out there guys! We did our best to take the castle at the end, which was one of the most intense battles that I've been in yet! NADIA - It was a great time trading shots back and forth the entire game. You guys did great in stalling out our objectives. Civvies - It was good running with you guys the first half, then shooting at you a little while later. It was interesting, as we had an alliance that wasn't based on trust, just information. Everyone - It was awesome to have everyone come out and sling some plastic up north with us! Thanks again Killmaster and AofK!

An amazing game, still sore from it. I loved being able to surprise everyone at the game. I got to camp the field and move out before everyone. Me and my sniper got to sneak behind enemy lines pass there respawn and into the village. We took potshots at people and came under fire outside of the village. It wasn't until Phil and Levi's spotter got there that we were really able to do damage. We cleared the entire village and designated ourselves Whiskey. Once we finally got to our respawn we were Munster's go to guys for everything, from transporting civilians to capturing to reinforcing squads.
Was a fun game my only regret was getting stung by some bees and me being allergic swelling up halfway through the day.
Thanks everyone who came out you may the day great. I would also like to think Tino, the owner of the field and all the refs.

Tino, Proprietors of Area 51 and to my fellow Airsofters:
Yesterday was great... Nice weather (I thought we were going to be to be rained out), great breeze, plenty of trigger time, and the opportunity to run with friends and family.
Carvin: You did a very solid job and with the exception of one deployment, I thought your decisions were spot on...... Thanks for taking the CO position. As you said, you can't please everyone and sometimes you have to "pick your poison". This is the second time I have been under your command. I have enjoyed both times. You kept your team in it right to the end. Thanks!!!
Overkill: You did good as a squad commander. Good combat presence, situational awareness, and allocation of assets. My sons and I will roll with you any time you want us.
The rest of MAD: Thanks for sticking it out till the end. I know most of you were tired and sunburned. And some of you were badly shot up. Literally..... It would have been an easy excuse to bitch about the odds, the missions, and some of the hit calling. Thanks for gutting it out and not leaving your team mates. I know this is only airsoft, but honor and character start with small things........
Munster & NADIA: What can I say. Still hate you bastards!!!!!! Great way to keep the pressure up on us Munster. We never really had a secure flank during the second half..... You used your numbers to your advantage. Grudgingly; "A good job!!!"
Civilians: "Never trust them..........." I was knife killed in the castle.
Toe-Knee: I love how you build a combat system around a scope!!!!!!! Maybe you and I should pool resources and get a Mini with tight bore barrels and a rail system.... Thanks for not leaving my flank when we were left to hold the village in the second half.
Justin, Stephen, & Michael: You made me proud.... You did very good.........
Tino, thanks for the organization and time commitment.
Thanks to Area 51 for hosting us and feeding us. Excellent field.
Best regards......

Camping in the field was great.. I enjoyed being able to play with such high caliber team mates for almost the entirety of the day. Sneaking past the spawn in the beginning of the day got my heart pumping, i really enjoyed the stealth aspect that sunshine and I's strategy employed for the match. Lacking a radio for the day I spent most of it accompanied by my spotter once we broke from sunshine and Phil at the village. It felt nice to be at least a small part of of NADIA's special unit. Sunshine- Your a bamf. nice to be your shooter. think of me again next time you have an idea that requires a sniper. KKoerber- Your a great spotter, we operate extremely well in the field together, I like to think that our 2-man team effort killing enemy targets on the flanks of our bases was an unsung game changer.

Levi our little ghetto tent was amazing! It would of been so nice to have some bug spray to actually keeps the bugs away. At least you got some sleep. Once again I was honored for you to be my sniper at the beginning.
