What can I say about this game other than exhausting. Nadia: you bastards You kept using your numbers to keep us down but we never gave up. I must say it felt great to airstrike you guys for a change. Civi's: backstabbing S.O.B's lol. I was never sure what side you were on so usually I would just open fire on ya. That switch you pulled at the castle was just harsh MAD: It was great running with you all. I and my fellow taco's had a good time slingin' the plastic along side you. Tino: Great game man, I had a blast. Only problem I had was that it seemed like there was never a ref around unless we were at a base. Other than that I say it was definitely worth the loooong drive The field is awesome and the game was terrific. The weather could of been nicer to us but what can ya do All in all it was great shooting at and with you guys and can't wait for my next game!

To all who attended thank you very much! This was by far the most demanding event that I have ever hosted. I was short on refs due to some last minute problems but we made it work. The heat was getting to a lot of people as myself as well. All in all everyone had a great time and I can't wait to actually shoot people next year!!!
I didn't get back home until around 10pm. I just unpacked my car and haven't had a chance to tally everything up! As soon as I get a chance I will.
Also I took approximately 50 pictures and Beener's took more than that. We have them uploaded soon.
Thank you for your patience...

Camping in the field was great.. I enjoyed being able to play with such high caliber team mates for almost the entirety of the day. Sneaking past the spawn in the beginning of the day got my heart pumping, i really enjoyed the stealth aspect that sunshine and I's strategy employed for the match. Lacking a radio for the day I spent most of it accompanied by my spotter once we broke from sunshine and Phil at the village. It felt nice to be at least a small part of of NADIA's special unit. Sunshine- Your a bamf. nice to be your shooter. think of me again next time you have an idea that requires a sniper. KKoerber- Your a great spotter, we operate extremely well in the field together, I like to think that our 2-man team effort killing enemy targets on the flanks of our bases was an unsung game changer. we definitely had a nice little squad going...

Thank you to everyone that served on MAD. Heat + my assumption that everyone has unlimited energy = a good time As always, Airsoft of Kalamazoo/Airsoft of Michigan delivered its brand of airsoft, which I truly believe is the future of airsoft. Lucky are we to be among pioneers. ---------- Toy Soldiers (with oneshot crew) Excellent job out there! You guys more than lived up to your title as lead fireteam. Overkill did a truly phenomenal job leading this squad to success time and time again. Every member on this squad approached their missions with alacrity and courage. AlphaThis four-man squad was very good at following commands on point. Hesitation was absent and each member bravely marched forward into whatever minefields I sent them through. BravoYou were the obvious support squad. Although split up at times, I got very good responses from them. They were often merged with other squads and did a good job integrating themselves quickly and effectively. Excellent job to all members. Fighting TacosThis veteran squad was sent out as a three-man team often paired with either Alpha or Bravo. Although some members started to die from the heat toward the end, this squd stuck it out to the end like champs. Excellent job to all members. Security DetailSpaz and Trig. A member of Cry Havoc and clear Cry Havoc material. 'Nuff said. ---------- Tino: The airsoft hustler did it again. Great event! Munster: Excellent leadership. Munster put together a sick network out on the field. I enjoyed trying to figure out what he was up to throughout the day. Overkill: Overkill provided A-Grade squad leadership. Lucky were we to have a veteran like him who thinks on his feet and acts without hesitation leading the primary fire team. Spaz: As the quintessential jack of all trades, Spaz rocked squad leadership, security, recon and even blitzes. No surprise that he was one of MAD's MVPs. Trig: This guy is money all around. After lending me DCUs and driving us up to the event, he followed up with an outstanding performance on the field. This guy is a Spaz Light and is welcome to roll with me anytime. That Guy On Fighting Tacos With All The Energy: I regret not knowing his name. This guy had a sick attitude that radiated on his teammates. He found multiple distillery items and acted without hesitation. Lancer: Excellent job. Get out to the airhouse sometime! ---------- Win or lose, we looked better and, as Spaz likes to tell me, half of airsoft is about looking good. That last rush on the castle was stellar! Thanks for all the love I got for my role as C.O. I appreciate all of your efforts and look forward to fighting alongside all of you again in the future.

I'd like to start by summing up........better than breedland by lunch! All action after lunch was just extra credit!! To be more specific: A. Better field in regards to diversity, every type of engagement could be utilized on this field. I haven't played on a more satisfying field in 17 years! B. Not ONE chance to be bored, you camp, you lose. The missions were challenging, and constant. C. Radio communication was on point. CO was on top of intel, gave clear and decisive, and timely orders. Tino - Our team is grateful and proud of you, for putting on such an amazing event. The ingredients for disaster were on the counter, but your recipe came out extra delicious!! No whining or cracking under pressure, you just smile and role with it. I honestly didn't even notice that you were short staffed. Everything went smooth, and we thank you!! Carvin - I don't think you even realize what a bad a s s you are! Seriously! Who else could have led us so fearlessly on a moments notice so effectively. My whole squad was amazed how quickly you adapted to the situation. I vote Carvin for CO @ Sherwood!! Constant pep, never complaining, and yes, waaay to eager to take point. (back the f up!! lol) One shot one miss - Some fine young men you raised there!! A chill went up my spine when Carvin said you would be rolling with us! Did ANYTHING stop us yesterday except a couple air strikes, and a slightly gay instant respawn attack from some back stabbing civies? I say no! Anytime brother, anytime! Spaz - it was good seeing you in something other than black. Very good field support and communication. Loved being on the firing line w/you Trigg - FINALLY! We got to be on the same team! Nice work keeping our CO safe brotha Nice to meet some of the Fighting Taco's finally. You guys def. held your own. To my fellow Toy Soldiers, I hope someday I can deserve, the talent and fearlessness you bring to the table. I never had to ask anything of you more than once, no second guessing my decisions, and following them to the "T". You've effectively fooled everyone into thinking I'm a good leader Point and case: We were flanked by a lone gunman who realized his world was about to go to sheet, and he retreated. I instantly decided that he was going to understand what fate he had just earned himself, and pursued him while shouting orders to all who felt likewise. We effectively scared the pheasant from the bushes with the help of one shots boys, (steve and Justin I think) and Recon got to empty half a mag into his chest before he decided to call his out!! WHAT a rush!! No hesitation on any teammates part, instant comprehension and execution of orders given. Moto - thanks for being one Hell of A medic, you only had to treat ALL OF US, seeing you were the only one. What an amazing task! Even further proof that the unanimous decision to make you our final team member was a good one! Toe Knee - aka sniper killer Incredible performance as usual. Amazing how willing and fearless you are to do any task I ask of you. And great job on taking out those pesky snipers at the end. Almost brought a tear to my eye. We are going to have to invent a new category for what describes your role on our team. Very honored to be your leader. Misterpsycotic - constant pressure, endless intell, and never giving up or giving a F HOW impossible it seems. You find a way. Recon - I wish I could bottle your energy! You must've came from the same planet as Carvin. Very good radio communication, a must in my book. Very frustrating, when you are blind to action, and no contact. You made sure that was never a issue. You were very conscience of the dangers around you, and kept others well informed of them as well. It's great to see you grow in this sport so quickly. Thanks again to killmaster for his efforts, and the owner of Area 51! CANT WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!! Overkill out!

CORRECTION TO CARVIN: This four-man squad was actually a three-man and one WOMAN squad! =P -FieldAngel (Cameron) (Mrs. Killmaster)

This even went just about as I expected it to.....freakin' amazing. Despite my being EXTREMELY overtired and going into this event with 0 sleep, I had tons of fun and energy to keep me going through the day....mostly lol.
The event ran very smoothly and had great players on both teams. Despite a few incidents about hit calling (which generally happens at every game and is nothing new) I think everyone who attended this event definitely got their money's worth. I especially loved the part about building the distillery. That mission was lots of fun. Props to Tino and the refs for putting together such an awesome event.
Now, its shout out time.
Area 51 paintball- You guys are awesome. Thank you so much for letting us use your amazing field. That field is definitely in the top part of my list of best fields I have played on....and Ive been doing this gig for over 6 years. Keep up the good work.
Carvin- Awesome job as our CO. Couldnt have done it without you. I really like your approach to commanding compared to other CO's. You bring up everyones spirits and morale. Most CO's just command which = boring. You on the other hand, you command, provide a mobile pep rally, and run into the fight 98% of the time which Im sure was interesting for your security detail. Keep it up brotha.
Fighting taco's- Rolling with you guys was nothing short of amazing. Ive played with you guys before but never close like this (you probably dont remember me and kazz coming down in winter to play at that backyard castle thingy). I'll tell ya though, we kicked some ass at that castle in the beginning. I look forward to playing with you all again.
Spaz- As always, it was awesome rolling with you and Carvin. We definitely rocked it up together cqb style just like always. Also, great job keeping Carvin alive. Also, your delta loadout is sexy.
Trigg- Thanks for the ride up there. I really appreciate it man. Also, you were pretty damn amazing out there. Way to keep Carvin alive and watchin' Spaz's back for him lol. Look forward to playing with you again....soon.
1 shot 1 miss AND 250 shots 249 misses aka Mark- It was awesome rolling with you guys whenever I did at that game. It was really fun when we took that mini white castle although I cant remember exactly who I was with. I just remember yelling over the comm to Carvin for backup asap when you got shot. But seriously, all of 1 shot 1 miss, I love rolling with you guys at every event. You all make me feel very welcome with your family and I appreciate that a lot. Mark, I hope you get that M60 workin again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my new event rating system. I will be reviewing all future events I attend in the same way to give the event organizer a break down in 5 categories so as to allow them to see their event in a new light.
Story- How enticing is the story line? Are the conflicts interesting and exciting or dull and listless? Does the conflict draw the player in so as to make them feel excited about choosing a team or does it make the player feel like it doesnt really matter what side they are on?
Sportsmanship- Did players call hits? If there was an incident, did the player call for a ref immediately?
Event quality- how electrifying were the effects? (pyro, smoke, special ground stikes like mortars). How enticing was the roleplaying to the player? How effective were the refs?
Safety- how intent on safety were the refs and event organizers? Were the chrono stations set up in a way so a player couldnt cheat? Were goggles checked?
Fun factor- How well did everything come together? And obviously, how much fun did you have? Conclusion: Story- 8/10 Sportsmanship- 8/10 Event quality- 9.5/10 Attention to safety- 10/10 Fun factor- 9/10 Overall- 8.5/10

Kilroy:
Thanks for the kind words...... I assume you are talking about my sons.
Yes, the M60 is running.... One of the box mag's wires detached from the motor. Simple repair..... I can spray paint bbs again.
Man, the 250 shots, 249 misses was harsh....... especially after I worked so hard to improve my accuracy..... All that time, effort, and ammo wasted. Then again, with a 4,000 round magazine, I can afford a few misses.
On a serious note, it is always fun running with you and the other Crew members. You also are always welcome to share our gear.

I forgot to mention the Detroit Siege Works guy. I never caught his name, but letting me hold his Kart EBR and teaching us a little about knife fights and how to get away from them was pretty cool. This was his crowning item at the game: AIRSOFT FLAMETHROWER! Colt, that was me, Rob, with the flamethrower, aka Redknight. To start out, I'm glad to hear that you guys liked the impromptu knife defense course and the flamethrower. I am sorry we did not have enough bbs to make it work...I apparently actually needed to have about 3 gallons to make the jet work on the thing as it is now working fine with crap we swept off of the workshop floor *sigh* maybe next time.... Spaz, I'm glad you are ok buddy, and you are most welcome. Remember to drink water next time!!! One shot one miss: It was a pleasure meeting you and playing with you sir. you were the consumate, stoic professional out on the field. Two-tone and the rest of the Fightingtacos: It was great seeing you and playing with you guys. I must also applaud your sportsmanship Two-tone, you handled that incident with that raging, violent, aug-toting-blonde-jackass very well even if the refs didn't. To all the guys that came forward and spoke up on my behalf at the end: Thank you for having integrity. I never got your names, but I am grateful to you. Area51 proprietors, you have built one hell of a nice field! To all the "civvie"role players, especially Reaper, you guys absolutely were awesome!

Rob:
Thank you for the kind words.
I know you had a number of issues and dealt with some immature players Sunday. Hope you give it another go.....
My sons and I will squad up with you any time you want. Thanks for sticking it out till the end. We will also try to make some of the Metro games this summer. I know my sons like the "Eastside" boys very much... They are always a good challenge.
