I merged my post into this thread so we wouldn't end up with 15,000 threads about the same thing.
Due to the unforeseen weather and Sundays late start, we would like to apologize and extend the offer of a free REC game pass to be used are any of our upcoming REC games events in the future.
We appreciate everyone sticking with us even though there were a few bumps in the road so to speak!
PM apparently Kazz and he will issue you a coupon code for the REC game!
We really do want to thank everyone for attending and we hope to see everyone in the future!

Wow.... Where to begin. I believe the good should come before the bad. So I am going to hand out some kudos to some individuals and teams. First off.. Much love to Tino!! Love you Brother! Kazz- Great job at trying to unscrew a bad situation. You represented the 131 well, even though you weren't playing. Maverick- See Mavs repair thread for his outstanding work. Spazz- First time working with you or playing for that matter. I had a great time rolling together. You displayed character that everyone in Airsoft should have. You were a great person to work with. Gunny/Toe Knee/ Life Saver- Great working with you for the first time as well. You represented Toy Soldiers well. I really appreciate you saving my butt from your perch when my weapon went down and I had to pull back. That was much appreciated. Much better player than you give yourself credit for. Fighting Tacos Contingent- Fantastic time rolling with you guys. I cant say it enough. You guys are truly a class act. I would roll with you anytime. Thanks to DR. Black for covering me so we could get at least 1 person in the castle asap. Kilroy- Same can be said about you as I stated with the others above. Plus, your funny as Crap too. Great time working with you. BTR- Only had one run in with you guys at the tail end of yesterday. But you and Tino were the only civilians who I thought played with Honor and integrity.. That I could see. To my 131 Operators- You did everything asked and did it well. We can AAR our actions on our forum. Now to my AAR of the event.... Overall the event had some weather hurdles to overcome among other things. Hit calling was the worst I have ever seen it at an event. regardless of host or venue. It wasn't everyone. Just Team MIR. I can assure you the 131 will never play at an event where they are hosts or players. Never have I ever seen a team act and do what they did. I think that was the overall feeling of both Green and Black Teams. I am glad I have never ran into them at any larger OPS Like Irene or Breedland. Their style wouldn't be tolerated there. In my opinion the objectives came to fast. The field was entirely to big to accomplish objectives in the 1/2 hour given. There were a few instances that it took us an 1/2 hour just to get somewhere. Less objectives and more time would have allowed for a better scenario IMO. Late starts on both days were huge downers for me and my guys. My only other issue was when black was forced to turn on the green during day one. That shouldn't have happened, regardless of the pre written scenario. We were clearly outgunned by a last minute plea on the forum to get more to move to the civvies. We came up with a plan to work together to accomplish our missions and at least have a shot against superior numbers. Its garbage that it was thrown away like it was. Only to be an objective for today. Overall, I went away feeling like this was not worth the trip. Not because of the lack of game play. Ya cant predict the weather, but because of the no hit calling and the way the scenarios turned out. But thank you for allowing me the opportunity to take part in your event. Respectfully, Six 131 Commander

I agree with you on almost every point you made. I'd say the night game was the highlight of the event. Hit calling like Six said was terrible, I was on civilian and despite what people might think it was not only the civilians not calling their hits. There were several times when I would shoot someone, watch the bb's bounce off and they would flinch and then get behind cover and return fire. But on the good side of things I got to meet some new people, and field is always a nice change from cqb all the time... If people are honorable.

we can and will all say this is one of the worst games to go to, but that doesn't mean it didn't have a bit of fun here and there, the hit calling really was horrible but we eventually found out that civis could take 60 hits before calling themselves out, and on top of that some people expressed that they really just don't belong on an airsoft field at all, but other than the game my squad never got put down by the rain and we had one of the best weekends of our lives, thanks all to the ones who stayed till the end and finished strong, cant wait to play with my comrades again.

Good....
Rolling with SPAZ and his crew it was a blast and I look forward to it in the future. We need to rock ACU's again brother man!!!.
SnakeEYE's you are a boss man taking that shot in the month. It was a pleasure and I hope to see you in the near future and for Breedland Next year.
KAZZ - What can I say brother great effort on your part and much 131 love to you. Cant wait to see you in training.
Gunny - It was a pleasure. I look forward to working with you in the future as well.
131 - It was a blast!!! Fun times and we rocked whatever needed to be rocked.
As I see eye to eye on everything Six posted , I want to bring something to life.
The main thing that bugged me as the CO for the Woodland is that when I asked for a Command Packet to help plan for this event, it took 2 weeks to get a repsonse then it was "well you will have to come to the airhouse to get it."I had Kazz from 131 go to pick it up and he was met with "well he will have to talk to this person to get it." way to leave a CO out in the dark on planning to better help his team achieve objectives through out. Then on game day I didnt event get a sheet of paper with the objectives on them. I had to depend on a ref to give me the missions over the radio... Bad form.
Also the first team team set up by the black and woodland, being then destroyed by the event admin telling balck "you cant be teamed up with green you are against everyone" Not cool there either.
Those are what put a bad taste in my mouth for this event.
When you say prepay thats what needs to happen. This will stop those that decide at the last minute to drop out of the event. Keep prepay dates for 2 months before the event. After that close the pre-pay section and if you are a walk on you are indeed paying the walk-on price which should be far more then what those of the people that pre-paid for the event. Also in this have a month for an early bird pre-pay special.
I hope things get better soon.

Well after playing along side of team 131, I now know how a milsim team should be run. Six and his team run like clockwork. I studied your team and the way they work and move together. filed away in the memory banks.
Sec, you really know how to command a team!
Team Black Elite Mafia, I can't think of a more fun group to run with. Pouring down rain, storming with hail and you guys are still laughing and cracking me up.
Spaz, always great running under your leadership. You always seem to know what to do next.
Wingman , a fierce fighter, always in middle of it. Another guy that cracks me up between games.
Kilroy, the master of destroying guns. went thru all of your guns and half of mine. lucky the XCR is indestructible( knock on wood). Now you know why me and Overrkill run them all the time. We had some good runs this weekend. You were gonna tear someone up on that run just before the whistle blew. Don't think I have seen you move that fast before. You were fired up!
Fighting Tacos, lets team up again, seemed like we all work together smoothly. Snake eyes, thanks for being medic. you played hard. Looked like your knee was giving you fits.
Tino, I don't think I have ever ran against a team leader that wore a sombrero. You always keep it interesting and really get into the role.
Mother nature had it in for us this weekend. She kept throwing some crappy weather at us, dam her!!! I haven't seen hail like that in years. Nothing you can do about it but deal with it.
I had some horrible hit calling experiences. I am watching the bbs bounce off of players thru a ten power night force scope and I can't hardly believe it. A little frustrating, but what ya gonna do.
The night games were a complete blast!!! The weather finally cleared for some good ole Kzoo style team death match. That made the trip worthwhile.
Thanks to all the refs. especially Kazz for getting things going when people were starting to get irate on Sunday morning.
I always try to have fun no matter the situation. life is too short not to.
Till next time. I will see ya........ In my sights.
Gunny. :-)

I must say I agree with the 131 on this game. I really feel like I payed 70 to camp out considering both days starting really late. I had way more fun B.S.ing at the fires than actually playing (which isn't saying much considering I wrecked my knee after 15 minutes of playing.) Only got about 2 good hours of play in over the whole weekend but the one thing that really stuck out was the civies poor hit calling. Along with that we were spawn camped and repeatedly lit up after we were dead by the same person. Whoever that was is lucky I play by the rules cause if I had made it to you without getting hit I would have fucked your day up. VERY poor sportsmanship is all I encountered from that team such as not bleeding out like your supposed to. I am disappointed because usually KZOO games are pretty legit but this one... Anyways Kazz: Way to take command dude! As soon as you started getting things going today it felt like a new life got poured into the game. Next time we are gonna hafta have you play instead of reffin. Had a blast hangin with ya at the fire, BAER! Spazz and Wingman: What can I say other than Hell yeah. Great times outside the field were had and many laughs. I had a blast being on black with both of ya! I still feel bad because we were so freakin loud at that fire no one was probably able to sleep. The 131: It was a pleasure meeting you all, you guys kicked ass and made our lives way easier for black team. Can't way to roll with you guys again. Thanks for keeping an eye out for me when I smashed my knee The green guys with the fire: I'm sorry I never caught any of your names, I had a blast chilling at the fire with ya! Overall I had a good weekend but that's mostly cause I met so many cool and hilarious people

The weather was bad the objectives were all messed up do to delays the no hit calling was absolutely ridiculous all these things made the event extremely frustrating. But what saved it for me was the team work when woodland and black teamed up it was a blast we defiantly kicked some butt we completed our objectives and when the enemy team needed 10 rounds before calling there out we'd give em 20. SEV- even though you said you were left in the dark on the event you did your best at pushing us through are next objective it was an honor playing with you.

My guys were very disappointed with the structure of this event. We drove 3 hours and spent 70 dollars on about 6 hours of airsoft. I understand the weather being an issue and we all lived with it but the overall organization of the event was a real let down. I am in total agreement that the hit calling was the biggest issue on the field. This type of behavior is just piss poor and a slap in the face to the sport. Not to mention, somewhat dangerous because you had to run up on certain civis 5 feet away on fully auto before they called a hit. Thats not safe or fun for either player. Regardless, we still had some awesome battles and a great time rolling with all the guys on woodland.

Sums up my weekend. Individually RecognizedSix - Great time running with you the second day! I had been looking forward to working with you and the 131 for a while now. Glad to have been able to work along side you and the rest of the guys! I also had fun watching you pat down and cuff Casey haha! Sev - I always enjoy running with you (which seems rare) and this wasn't any different. Did a great job commanding the Greens and I think we worked well together meshing our teams. Fighting Tacos Thoroughly impressed with you guys and even though we got tossed around all day, energy and moral was up! Could not have asked for a better group of guys to command. Gunny/Toe Knee You made what could have been the worst weekend of my life bearable. Radios crapped out, you had a spare. My pistol broke, you fixed part of it. My Shoelace tore in half, you got me some para-cord. Anything I needed you were there to help me out and I can't thank you enough. I always enjoy your sense of humor and just shooting the shit with you off the field. The BadThe first day started about an hour late which didn't bother me much since I figured we would have a TON of time to play anyway. After receiving missions from our base ref, we went off to complete said missions... after attempting to complete the objective, the ref told us we were to skip the missions for the next one due to time constraints. That was just the start of it. We were flip flopped to different missions what seemed like every 15 minutes with the excuse of "time issues". Not only were we rushed for time to complete a mission, but halfway through it we were given a mission that was supposed to have been completed an hour previous. Frustrations abound! It takes a lot to piss me off, but running around a 50 acre field all day while getting what seemed like nothing completed is a bunch of B.S. Get better Refs...(exception of Kazz) "Nuff said. Team Mir. Dishonorable players. Maybe not all of them, but they were represented badly by all the ones that I saw. Taking hits like juggernauts and firing 20+ shots into people at close distances. Unacceptable behavior. I am in complete agreement with what Six said. I will refrain from attending any event that Team Mir decides to show up for because of said hit calling and terrible trigger control. The weather. Not a fault of the event organizers, nothing can be done about it really... just added more frustration to an already highly annoying game. The ridiculously late start of the Sunday game and the early finish. The weather had finally cleared up enough to play and we started late and ended early for what seemed to me like dumb reasons. The GoodThe Night game was amazing. Sneaking around in all Black as a 2 man sniper/spotter team with Wingman was crazy fun! tagging guys from extreme distances in complete darkness was some of the best field fun I've ever had. Sunday's continuation with Green. Was able to run with the 131 for most of the day and we helped each other complete important missions. All in all, I don't think we were ready for a 2 day Milsim. Learn from this and maybe try again, but this ruined 2 day Milsims for me.

Well to sadly jump on the band wagon i agree that I've never seen such dishonor, having to tell your own team-mates, the bulk of my whole team, they need to call hits is just.....disappointing to say the least, not to mention many newer players did not understand that goggles stay on at all times while not in a safe zone and they but their safety at risk many times, once again preaching to your own team most of the time for basic rules just shouldn't happen in this mass especially at a mil-sim. The objectives were well made but ill timed, as has been stated and they were kind of spread too thin between people.
All of the bad aside it had a good scenario and the first night game was tons of fun and hidden within all the bad players there were pockets of good ones and within them i saw a lot of healthy teamwork and strategy.

Pretty much sums it up for me. Lovely playing with the Tacos, you guys rocked. Kazz is a BAWS for organizing on the fly and getting us out there and shooting. GG brotha! Team Mir.... see Spaz and Six's remarks. Nuff said about them. Those guys in green around the fire: thanks for hanging! Tino. I love you. Bill... wtf man? Gunny... titty bars are probably a better option next time. In summation, I had about as much fun off the field as I did on it. Great teamwork all around. You guys on green did rather well for being so shorthanded. Looking forward to the next rec game but I'm iffy on milsims. Blah. Read my ragecomic Attachments:
