Zombie Apocalypse II 9/29/11 This was my first outing at the airhouse, so it was a little tough learning the place in total darkness, but I had an amazing time, as did the group I brought with, who were also first-timers here haha. The field was great to play at and there were a decent amount of people there. I didn't do so great as a zombie, but it was still really fun. One of my friends was also a zombie and he carried around a big homemade club and really got in people's faces haha. The only issue I saw was the occasional team killing (expected that though in the dark) and some people firing even after the game was over, especially in the outdoor section after a game of CTF! Overall, I really liked the Airhouse, and the Zombie game was really exciting and a good change of pace from standard team skirmishes. My friends & I are looking forward to coming again soon. See you all later!

Me, Rango and Cobra, had a good time too. There were more than enough zombies to really screw up your tactics. Playing in total darkness I found was pretty difficult. Especially when I would get team killed several times every game. That's ok though cause I know I prolly shot a few of my own too. The funniest part of the night was when I was outside of the kitchen scanning for zombies and looking for the flags. A young guy in 3 color desert. Snuk up on me and said kinfe kill. I said "what did you say". With big grin on his face he said " knife kill"again. I was too busy worrying about zombies to watch my 6. Good job on that knife kill. My son Rango got pretty tired around 11 pm as he had an early morning soccer game and an indoor soccer game in the afternoon then go play air soft all night. He stck it out though. It was fun following him around and watch how he uses cover and his light to blind the opposing team as he shoots them. I let Cobra use the Polar Star a few rounds. Being away from that gun and hearing it from a distance. Now I know why I sounds so scary when fired in your direction. He was kinda embarrassed when the hose fitting came loose on the tank in the staging area and dumped the whole tank of air while on his back. I will have to remember to check those before each game form now on. That sure got everyones attention!!!!
Thanks to Munster, his wife and daughter and reffs for running a smooth operation. I am very grateful for the time and effort that you put into the air house.
See you al later...............in my sights. Gunny

All and all this was a good event. Before the event us zombies noticed that there werent near as many zombies that signed up who actually showed up, but it was very fun none the less. I myself got to add 31 kills on the side of my axe with a sharpie. Total of 34 now, it will go up I really liked the idea of the fog and strobe light, added an eerie feeling. Ohh yeah, and by the way, Matic and Blue. IM THE BATTLE AXE CHAMPION!

Damn!!! What a Night Me and 5 other's Went fireing team on the first zombie we saw, which was the first contact of the night It was Legend. We must of dump 3 quick rounds into him each all at the same time. Thats when me and my boys entered the tarp maze... with our flash lights off... (worst idea ever) Some how Legend made his way back to the tarps and we started getting picked off... and i just said screw it and hooked up with the ACU boys and we whooped the Crap out of the other team... So far this is the best time I've had at the airhouse. Than I tryed exiting the kitchen (with my light off)...(alone).... The other team must of had 10-12 people out side we had 1. Not a mila-second after i stepped out of the kitchen in total darkness, The flood light turns on it was a deer and a head lights type deal between me and the other team. sure enough Crap hit the fan bb's started slinging, Shot one contact and then I rushed to the stabble's. I shot to Zombies going prone in the grass then i shot 4 other contacts. All in all i had a great time... i felt like i did my job and got my share of kills, It was great to see Alot of new people out at the airhouse peace out.

Well, that was a BLAST! Let me tell you, I didn't even use my aeg that night, I was having so much fun eating peoples brains! I must have axed 40 something people, that's how confused you humans were in the dark! I recall in the "Control the Zombie game" I was on the tape team, and their spawn was the spot in the corner by the chrono station. I cut through the middle of the airhouse (just walking I might add), went up the stairs by the bus stop, and made it upstairs. The first person I encountered, I asked, "Are you on tape team?" he replied, "No." So I axed him, and went over to one of the windows where 2 people were shooting down. I axed them, and then I spotted a large crown of people by the metal stairs about to go down I think (must of been like 10-11 people). I start at the back, and axe/tag the whole crowd, and when I'm done I say, "You're all dead!" They're all like, "What!" That's how confused you people were! One thing I also enjoyed doing was if I was laying on the ground dead, and someone was watching me with their light, the moment they got distracted, and shinned they're light off me, I'd run away, so when they looked back, I'd be gone, and they'd be like "Oh crap! Where'd he go!" Thankfully I didn't get any nut shots on me, and the only bad welt I had was on my neck. Oh, and Rogue, you may be the "Battleaxe Champion" but I still have more Nerf kills than you!!!

Hey guys. I had a great night tonight as well. I was new to the axe gameplay, and Im not going to lie, it was pretty nerveracking as a zombie just running around hoping not to get shot. Rogue . It was nice talking to you and Matic. You inspired me to name my axe David! P.s. Overall it was a great fun time, and it was nice to see all of the new faces at the airhouse.

Good times Saturday night. First time I have played there with most of the lights out, and that was one hell of an experience. Although the zombies were outnumbered at least 4 to 1, it was fun just messing with people and eating some good old brains Favorite moment of the night was my sliding Nerf kill. So awesome of a kill It was fun rocking most of the night with Rogue, Blue, and Slappy. Got into some serious shenanigans in the garage during the second CTF game. Note to self - NEVER follow behind Munster during a zombie game. You will most likely get your ass killed off quickly Overall fun time. Can't wait for the next one Oh and Rogue...I want a rematch. One on one. I. Will. Win.

That made me lol...
Special thanks to all the zombies who came out. And all who really challenged themselves to get multiple melee kills. Its not as hard with the lights off, but as Slappy pointed out, running with no gun can be quite nerve wracking..
Really good sportsmanship was expressed by all. No big disputes or arguments, even toward the end when everyone started getting tired.. Thats a good testament to the crowd.
I am glad everyone had fun. We will be doing Zombie Apocalypse 2.5 on Valentine's Week in Feb. Hopefully it can be close to as cool and fun as this event was.
