Sooo, in lue of reading the many opinions of different people on different threads, I thought I would make an argument thread for this purpose. Feel free to argue and flame to your hearts content on this thread on which system is better.
My Opinion:
PC: I love PC gaming. Its so versatile. You can make it better for any game that comes out. (provided you have money) I believe PC gaming is superior to any console for everything and anything. It has larger server size capabilities, possible higher resolution settings, more keys for programming actions, and I feel that most PC games have a better sensitivity range. PC has my vote.
PS3: Don't get me wrong, I love my PS3, but there are faults and problems. The newer systems have a loud reading noise and the system has limited customizable hardware. Some games, (COD) have a host system which will change hosts, but on the PS3, it just feels less than ideal. PS3 servers are quite a bit more expensive than just a Linux box for a PC server. All in all, it's a very capable system, with a few quirks.
Xbox: Microsoft has outdone itself with the Kinect system. I feel that the few console specific games are the only things holding people to the system. I know there are people who have issues, like my friend. He says his hands are too big for a PS3 controller and that he doesn't like the format. I believe it's a bogus excuse, but its definitely a selling point for people. Kinect has sold me on the Xbox 360 though.
Wii: Wii... You had and interesting motion system when you came out, until Playstation stole it for their SixAxis system. Then they had MotionJoy. Then Xbox came out with the Kinect. Now a days, you are only worth the Netflix you can do. I'm sorry Nintendo... You have failed at this system, your one of few failures...
Older systems: Older systems are my nostalgia moments. I still have my PS2, and I loved having my N64. I only wish I actually had a NES or SNES of my own, but they were great in their time period. Each had their problems, but they bring back LOTS of memories.
