i put a new hop up unit into my mp5 and put it back together perfectly. but, when i try to fire it it screams at me. the motor works fine and so does the gear box but when togeather it yells at me. any suggestions.

I am not a Techie but i have encountered a similar situation with an ECHO1 M4. Is the piston jammed by chance? or is it in need of a shim and bushing job?
You might not know how to tell so i will leave it up to someone in better knowledge then myself but just giving some ideas.

Is the motor height adjusted right? small screw on handle can be adjusted up or down to have more or less contact with the gears...

Definetly is the motor height. Let us know if that doesnt work.

Must be the motor height happens a lot when the gun gets rattled around or bumped in your case it was probably taking the gun apart that changed the motor height the motor never sets the same way on the tension spring twice so yes what Maverick said motor height they eliminated that problem with the V3 Gearbox not saying V2 isn't good just saying motor height was the problem, oh and if anyone needs anything I'm great with AEG's and GBB guns that is if Maverick doesn't get to it before me.
