I really had a great time reffing all the games and playing a few too!
Our prompt 12:00 start time went well, with late arrivals having extra time to prepare while early arrivals got to hit the field right away.
I was very impressed with the quality of play. All players, younger and older, played with a high degree of honor. Rules were followed, and our vision for a higher caliber of play was realized with this game.
I think we are at the threshold of something great. Thanks to all who played today. Hope to see you all again soon!
PS..Nine, sorry about that BB to the tongue, it should be better in about 4-6 weeks..

For me the best part of airsoft is pushing yourself like your really in the thick of it. Id say that's my key to success and while I can understand not all people have that mentality *coughs* kid with the M60 *coughs* but it really turns into more realism. I must say great time aside from my DCS breaking again. It was awesome when sunshine and I were clearing house I didn't even have to say anything. Just a twirl of my finger for regroup and boom he was ready. Tapped my right shoulder ,stacked up watching my 12 as I cleared left and right of the buildings and more then twice he nailed a guy for me just as he was supposed to keeping me alive and kicking. I trust him with that from now on. I would like to see that happen more often as that played out perfectly. There was a time where I was like where my own team member shot me as I reswpaning...in the cheek. Other then that great overall and I wished sev would of stayed longer so we could sling some plastic but oh well I had fun. EDIT: I left my DCS ( shield ) in the kitchen up aginst the wall. its MARPAT. Cant miss it. Ill get it next time im up there I guess. I bring my good grammar from the Nazi forums of which shall not be named. ;D

Now THAT is the kind of turnout i love to see at Rec games guys!! more new faces mixed in with the regulars and Kzoo Crew. Despite just coming off a small surgery and being on some crazy meds, I decided to show up and sling some plastic with the gang and i'm sure glad i did. Enjoyed every moment of saturday. I particularly enjoyed the 5 man snipe hunt scenario. Props to Crockett for being the last to survive and winning Carvin, Carvin's dad, Miller and I the title of Snipe masters for the day! 10 minutes baby!
One of the more honest and honorable games I have attended as I personally had zero problems with hit calling or anything else. Name calling perhaps... (I got called a pussy for sniping from the window early on in the day hahaha) and some frustration of other players being hit in tender areas (which is perfectly understandable). Nothing very big in terms of hindering game play though. I love having newer players come in and enjoy themselves.
Favorite part of the day was the 1v1 Match I had. Correct me if i'm wrong Tino/Munster, but i believe it was with the leader of another Kzoo Crew ally? At any rate, small team death matches are my forte and getting to 1v1 at the Airhouse makes me want to cry! I blitzed up the kitchen side fast and stopped dead to listen for movement. Tino cries out "no stopping! gotta move!" so i creep up silently about to make my move on the middle wall seperating darkside and lightside. My vision is toward the middle opening and the opening underneath the wooden staircase as i hear a shuffle of boots mouse-quiet toward my right. Milliseconds later a barrage of rounds slam into my bunker as i duck down for cover and quickly take stock of the situation. Recovering quickly from the initial surprise, I take 3 snap shots at my target while under fire and as soon as I see him lose direct sight of me I move across the middle opening to swing around back and flank him from behind for a few shots to the side and a sweet victory.
Props to my opponent for being able to sneak up on me! Definitely had the drop on me at the start and I count myself lucky for not taking a couple in the dome. Sorry for the short story there, i just get really excited for 1v1 2v2 and 3v3 TDM games.
Cannot wait for more Rec games like this!

Nice breakdown of the Mano y mano matchup! For anyone who was wondering, it was Sandman vs Spaz.

Hey guy!! I had so much fun, I will deff be coming out more. I will be there in 2 weeks. And Spaz thanks for sneeking up on me around the corner and shooting me before I could even pull my trigger. LOL. Shooting you (friendly fire) was pay back. hahah.
Any ways. Everyone did awesome and I promise that I won't wait as long to come play again like I did!

I had a blast sorry I left early, I was just not feeling it for some reason. However with that said I will be at the next one and as it starts to cool down through out the rest of summer into fall I will be there all of the time.
