i purchased carvins m16 and im having some issues with it. first off the pistol grip cameloose so i changed it. now i have no idea how aegs work. carvin told me exactly what to and thats what i did. its shooting fine, but now my hop up does not work. i adjust it and the first 2 shots shoot fine. after that they just shoot straight down.and it keeps doing it over and over again. could me changing the pistol grip, taking the motor out and all that have anything to do with my hop up not working nemore. if so is there anything u can do to help and how much would it cost....

Don't worry about it, man. Guns sold to teammates come with an insurance policy, I just haven't sat down with it yet. I'll take care of it for free.

No, removing the pistol grip and motor will not cause your hop up to fail. Try turning the wheel back so the hop is off and then reapply the amount of hop you want. Sometimes the hop up will cause the BB to do the opposite of what its supposed to due to it being up to much. ( gets stuck ) If that doesn't work try removing the inner barrel/hop up unit and see if your bucking is torn where it applies the backspin to the BB. Make sure your nub hasn't fallen out either. Also if there is silicon lube on the bucking it will casue your hop up to not work properly until it wears off. Check for missing pieces from when you took it apart.
EDIT: Hey if carvin will fix it for free then why worry about it? ;D

You know in reading this, sounds like the nubbin is either no longer there or is so worn out it is not working.
