I was trying to fix the charging handle on the m4 and i dont know how to put it back together ;D. I just need a pic or something to show me how to put it together, I dont know exactly where the spring is suppost to go. The charging handle is meant by the thing that would cock it in a real m4 (under the rail and above the gear box)

Alright, lets see if I can explain this in words since I am not at home to take a pic.
On the charging handle, there is a little hook at the end that points towards the barrel. One end of the spring hooks there. The other end goes onto a hook that on the underside of the top rail. It is usually right above the hopup and depending on the gun it can be a screw or a piece of plastic.

Yeah but the only problem is the spring is too long. It worked fine before but it was jammed out so I had to un-jam it. But the spring was already attached to the charging handle itself, but the other thing it was attached to it fell out so I need to find out where it goes. I will try to figure it out but it just doesn't make sense.

Ok, i found out where everything goes, but the world isnt as easy as that. The spring was some how extended and no longer usable so i need to find a new spring that is usable but i dont know where to get one.

That is the problem I run into with alot of the charging handle springs. What I usually end up doing is using a couple of rubber bands as they dont deform ever.

The same thing just happened to me. Could you fix it on Saturday? I don't want to brake it more by disassembling it by myself.

Ok, this is what i did. I took the pin next to the selecter switch and pushed it out. Then the m4 upper reciever should bend over with a little force. take the barrel out. Take the charging handle out and the plate next to the opening by the hop up out. If the spring is really streched out like mine was, then use a rubber band as maverick said. hook the rubber band to the charging handle and that black thing that goes into the top of the hop up if the barrel was in. Mine was a little black piece that fell into place with a little work and then put the charging handle back into place and put the plate into where it should ( it should slide in ) and put the barrel in and close the upper reciever back and put the pin back in. If that dosnt work, i know it is confusing but it is like a pussle then ask maverick

Lol, you will figure it out. It is mostly common sence once you stare at it for a while and find out what is wrong. Remember most of these machines are not that complicated when you get down to it.
