No sir. The reason being that it is a safety issue. 350 fps is actually rather high for CQB places. Most play with a limit being either 328 fps (1 joule of energy), or 300 fps. I keep my CQB rifles at about 280 to 300 fps. The difference in range between 300 and 350 fps is very nominal. With my mp5k shooting 290 fps, I can shoot clear across the airhouse. I know that I do not like getting accidently lit up with a gun close to the fps limit and since I do not need the extra fps, I keep mine low in case some situation happens and someone gets shot point blank or so. I can concur with Mav on this one since i had him de-spring my D-Boys M4 CQB to shoot around 325 when it was shooting at 350 or higher. And with my Lipo-battery(11.1v) it srceams at that low FPS but with a ROF at around 19 or 22 bbs a second.

Airsoft guns are designed to run in either semi or full auto. Half pulling the trigger can result in the piston pulling back and holding stress in a position it was not designed to hold for a period of time in. This can result in a lock up. However, I run semi auto all the time, switching to full only when I need to for say multiple targets at once. I enjoy semi auto games because the players cannot spray nearly as badly as some do. Aslo adding an AB MOSFET assures that the gearbox cycles the proper amount with every pull of the trigger. I make these MOSFETs and install them as well. As for the cost of a spring change, I charge $10. can a MOSFET be added to any gun (I would like to add it to my Dboys PDW)

Yes, a MOSFET can be added to any AEG. The placement of it will depend on battery configuration, and battery housing space.

K, I'll talk to ya more about it at the airhouse. I don't have a problem with short stroking, when in semi-auto, but sometimes the piston gets stuck in full auto if I release my trigger at the wrong moment. I've already disassembled my gear box three times now, because of this problem.

That almost sounds like your gears sliping and or worn teeth on the piston its self.

That almost sounds like your gears sliping and or worn teeth on the piston its self. thanks, I've replaced the piston, and the main problem, the bushings, since then. It's been running like a clock ever since.

The dboys, ball bearing bushings were missing an important component ..........the ball bearings. So obviously they were binding up.

That will happen. Good to hear you are up and running.
